Training tip of the month:

Progression
Ask most people what the key to improvement in the gym is and likely they will answer something like “intensity” or “hard work”.  Certainly those are essential components, but one of the most crucial aspects is “progression”.
When you train, you are giving the body a stimulus that elicits change.  This could be to get stronger, gain muscle, become faster, lose bodyfat, etc.  That training session that you just did, likely was what you needed to do in order to achieve your goal but that’s not enough.
The following training session, you want to show progression.  This means pushing your body just a little bit more to force it to make a positive change.  Now don’t misread this in saying you have to demolish yourself to make it happen.  Rather, it’s a gradual progression, which you can sustain over time.
For example, lifting the same weight on a given exercise for one more rep, or doing the same amount of reps with five more pounds.  Going 10 more yards on a sprint, adding one more sprint on your intervals.  These very gradual increments done consistently over time is what causes progress.  Having a training log and maintaining accurate records is an essential tool in order to maximize this.
Keep progressing and busting through those plateaus!!

Vasodiolation:
As many of us know, there are few things more satisfying than destroying your workout and leaving everything on the floor. Walking out the door engorged with blood, feeling as if your skin is about to tear wide open. Sure, its gratifying, but is it more than just a feeling of accomplishment?

Noxygen, High Volume, Alphasurge DRV

Growth can be brought on by many different factors. Most everyone is aware that going heavy and hard is a surefire way to create some gains. What about the higher repetition training? Taking sets to all out failure and leaving no muscle belly empty? This too can be a great way to spark hypertrophy. Forcing so much blood into your fibers that they actually stretch beyond their means and repair bigger and better than before.
Not only the growth factor, but also the nutrient uptake and delivery. Localizing your bloodflow to a certain area under training circumstances will propel your staple supplements (creating, beta-alanine, etc.) into the muscle. With that being said, wouldn’t you want to optimize your vasodilation properties? Below, I am going to highlight a few specialty products that can be an addition to ANY preworkout that you choose. These products in conjunction with proper training and nutrition will warrant your body to make way for some results without a doubt.
Purus Labs Noxygen:
Purus Labs released Noxygen late last year, yielding their patented Nitratene (sodium nitrate), Betaine Anhydrous, and another novel creation called ” hydromax” which is a higher molecular count form of glycerol. What does all this mean? Nitrates are the new school to Arginine. They do  not have to go through the same grueling process to be broken down via nitric oxide synthesis. When your body reached peak levels of N.O. through arginine, the body stopped. Depending on your genetic potential, that could be a little, or a lot. Now, you have the possibility to live on the side with the gifted genetics. Nitrates are not limited by the same metabolic pathway and have a 2 step conversion to reach the target molecule. Their high molecular version of glycerol mix better and perform better than the old glycerol monostearate, saturating your cells with more than adequate hydration intra-training. Of course, the TMG/Betaine has its own benfits from strength, oxygen usage, and endurance. All and all, an unflavored powder that you may couple with your favorite stimulant/non-stimulant blend that doesn’t quit!
Athletix Sports High Volume:
Athletix is a company that I had the privilege of working with online for a number of years as a representative. Although the ownership has since changed, the products have remained solid as ever.  Their non-stim pump product boasts heavy doses to promote a vascular physique.  Including glycerol for cell volumization, it also has 5g of L-Citrulline and 1g of Agmatine Sulfate (both of which are important markers in N.O. synthesis)
1st Phorm Alphasurge DRV:
Last but not least, the newest product to arrive on the shelves. 1st Phorm has released a pill version pump product which may create a little more convenience for on-the-go customers. Ingredients include Arginine Malate, Glycerol, Agmatine Sulfate, and L-Norvaline. Customer reviews thus far have been very positive! As it is relatively new, we rely alot on what our customers come back and tell me based on their experiences, and this one brings home the gold so far!
