This is the first of a two part series of supplement stacks.
In light of the recent powerlifting meet that Nutri-Sport hosted, customers and clients have been interested in what supplements they can use to maximize strength. To accomplish this, two things must be maximized first, recovery and health. In the picture below, you will see a basic stack for just that purpose and the purposes.
Multi-vitamin: Ensure all basic micro-nutrients are met. These vary widely, but look for one that is reputable and while providing a good spectrum of vitamins and minerals, doesn’t go over the top. We recommend taking it twice a day.
Vitamin C: A water soluble vitamin that is arguably the most well-known of all. Among it’s vast uses, the most well know is an anti-oxidant that helps with tissue repair. Also is a great immune system booster.
B-Complex: By helping reduce stress and increase energy, this combination of the B vitamins is a great after a brutal training session.
Vitamin E: Another well know anti-oxidant, utilized to help repair damaged cells from workouts and everyday stresses of life.
Vitamin D: Helps with bone health (in conjunction with calcium) along with boosting immune system.
Glucosamine: When your body repairs and build connective tissue, glucosamine is a precursor to joint cartilage and other connective tissues. Supplementing ensures it’s not a limiting factor for repairing the tissue. Also has benefits for those with arthritis.
Psyllium Husk Powder: One word, fiber. This soluble fiber ensures a healthy digestive system, along with potentially lowering cholesterol and helping regulate blood sugar.
Omega 3: Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are used to help reduce inflammation, but also helps with cardiovascular health and improving cholesterol.
