For many people, the training part of living a healthy lifestyle is the “fun” part. Food preparation is often times where my clients get hung up. It doesn’t have to be that way. I find it most efficient to devote a block of time on Sundays to prep meals for the week. Life is busy, but that doesn’t mean a solid nutritional program has to suffer. In the video below, I offer some tips for taking the struggle out of food prep and getting your week off to a strong start:
Three easy points to remember:
- Cook your meals in advance and keep it simple
- Divide your meals into portion sizes; freeze items in bulk when macros may fluctuate
- Always have a bottle of water with you
